Inter-Club Race Details

Vosseler Shield

This is an inter-club cross-country race organised by Wellington Harriers.

VENUE: Mount Victoria, Wellington. Race headquarters are at the WHAC Clubrooms, 164 Alexandra Rd.

COURSE: All races start, and finish, on the grassed area (mountain biking area) which is below and to the east of the WHAC clubrooms; the course covers bush tracks and rocky trails with steep uphill / downhill gradients. The entire race is off road with the exception of road crossings on Mt Victoria.

It is for Competitive members only. Entry fees are covered by your annual subscription.

All races are mass-start in the following age grades and distances.

This is an inter-club cross-country race organised by Hutt Valley Harriers.

VENUE: Trentham Memorial Park.

This is an inter-club cross-country race organised by Wellington Athletics.

VENUE: This changes every few years, it is currently being held in Harcourt Park, Upper Hutt.

VENUE: Wainuiomata Recreation Area. Enter from Moores Valley Road and turn into Whitcher Grove which leads to Reservoir Road.

Wellington 10k Road Running Championships

This is an inter-club road race organised by Wellington Athletics.

VENUE: Wainuiomata Recreation Area. Enter from Moores Valley Road and turn into Whitcher Grove which leads to Reservoir Road.

Wellington Road Race Walking Championships

This is an inter-club road race organised by Wellington Athletics.

VENUE: Twin Lakes access road at Te Marua, Upper Hutt.

There are Championship, A Grade and non-Championship B Grade races.
The Champioship A grade races are for Competitive members only. Recreational members may enter as a B grade competitor. Entry fees are covered by your annual subscription.

Full details of the event, including race start times will be available on the Upcoming section of the club website Home page a few weeks before the event.

The championship A grade races will be fully judged, and any disqualified walker will be allowed to finish and moved to the B grade event. There is no penalty zone operating.
